Comments about Audioplex INW-6 6 Pair In-wall Load Balancing Speaker Selector:

Seems to work ok. The install on the other hand was a pain. This switch was not made to be used with 14guage strained speaker wire. There is no way to get all the strands in the terminal. Be prepared to make a trip to [...] for some liquid tape to make sure the strands don't short to the next terminal.

Inwallstore.com Response: All the connectors on all the volume controls and speaker selectors are the same in regards to using 14 gauge wire...that's the top end of the hole opening and takes patience to insert correctly. Only strip back about 1/8 to 3/16 of jacket and don't twist the wire going in.

The review on THIS being a hard install isn't a fair review of THIS product. All these types of connectors offer the same design.

Comments about Audioplex INW-6 6 Pair In-wall Load Balancing Speaker Selector:

The only complaint I have is that this unit was not made for use with 14guage stranded speaker wire. It is impossible to get all the strands in the connectors. Buy some liquid tape to make sure the strains don't short out. What a pain.

Inwallstore.com Response: 14 gauge works fine in these products....ALL of the companies use the same connector set-ups.

Only strip back about 1/8" to 3/16" of wire and DON'T TWIST.
