I was pleasantly surprised by this piece. Switches feel good. Bigger and heavier than I expected. I'm using it in a five-pair system with four in-walls and one pair of boxes. Sound seems clean, switches seem to transmit sound well. Volume is almost completely unaffected by switching speakers on and off. The one thing I didn't enjoy -- I was using unfinished, twisted 12 ga wire, and the speaker wire connections barely accommodated the wire. But, I got it done, and it worked. I recommend this piece.
