I bought these as rear speakers for my surround system and they work great. These turned out to be much more speaker for the money than I had expected. When not using in the surround system they are the perfect match to play music along w/ the front speakers. Very solid speaker.

Just installed these ceiling speakers and it was very simple and easy...no problems whatsoever. They sound fantastic with my Denon 375 Watt Receiver. Great buy and worth the money.

We wanted to get rid of the ugly, bulky speakers used for home theater 5.1 surround sound that were mounted on the walls in our family room. We decided to go with the in-ceiling type for a cleaner look, but I was unsure of how the sound quality would be. After reading many good reviews I thought to give it a try, and I'm very glad I did. Not only do they look great, but the sound quality is so much better than before it is utterly astounding. I'm amazed at the room-filling sound we get from these great speakers, compared to the much larger ones I had before. After much time spent on where to locate them, the installation went very quickly. They are well-designed and sound fantastic in both the front and rear surround. I used 16 gauge speaker wire for the hookups, I wouldn't go with anything smaller than this in my opinion. Highly recommend these speakers.
