This product came with no directions for installation. It was easy to figure out but took a few tries. It does not have the 'tight' feeling that screwin plates have. For the price, it would be better to pick one up at the local hardware store.
Inwallstore.com Response: The installer trick here is to bend the main "posts" way back and try to get one final "click" out of the sliders...old work stuff is usually a compromise with anything.

Very simple solution to provide mounting surface. Negative is the clamp which is easy to install backwards especially within the wall and difficult to align the clamp to the rails and centering is essential.
Inwallstore.com Response: Customer comments are right on. Be careful when aligning the clamp to get it right the first time. The good news is that you can back it off and try again if you miss the first time.
Another little trick to this device is to bend the "post" back while tightening the clamp on the inside of the wall....this allows you to go "one click" further on the post and snugs up the fit to the wall.
